TMI

Hello Everyone,
With all the access we have to each other, when is enough, enough? I'm just spitballing here, but i think we may be stretching ourselves too thin. What I mean is with the constant contact (i.e. facebook, twitter, blogs) we have no escape. I up until about 5 months ago did none of this. No facebook, no twitter, no blog, and no podcast. I don't enjoy all of these things, but I do enjoy others. I was highly against all of these things before we started podcasting, but it is almost a necessary evil to do some for "promotion." I didn't want everyone to know everything I did. I know you can limit what you share with your "friends" and lookers on. What I want to know is, why people feel the need to share everything? Sharing with people is great, but we may just start to run out of secrets. What are we going to talk about once we share everything? Mundane daily chores which is kind of what these social sites are being reduced to. Boring! Maybe we just need more people to become a little more creative with what they talk about or maybe we can share things that people may want to talk about. Maybe we should just step away from some of our social networks and actually go out and talk to someone face to face. Or we could just hold off on sharing the fact that we are taking the kids to the doctor's. I don't have the answer. I just have questions.
