Hello everyone,
When did we as a society become so involved with celebrity news becoming news? I'm just spitballing here, but news outlets are running out of "real" news. This is why we have to get our Lindsey Lohan news before we get to anything remotely interesting. I believe because we have so many news outlets now our intake of the news has to be increased to include celebrity news. My question to this is why? Why not just give us a broader look at the world instead of gossiping over baby "bumps?" I personally don't care about celebrity news. I do however care when Yahoo's home page (as an example) is covered in it. I like to get my news from said site, but would prefer not to have to wade through a mountain of celeb trash to get to anything relevant. I understand why they do it. This type of news sells to the public, and well cash rules everything around me...dollar dollar bill y'all. All I ask is that celebrity news stay on the E! site and not flow over into my reputable news sources.
