Hello Everyone,
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I was getting ready for a vacation, than took it with the family. We went to D.C. and it was a really fun time for all of us. What concerns me is I was taunted by a person I didn't know. I would normally just shrug it off, but I was giving him help on finding something there. Here is what happened. The family and I had just stopped to figure out which way was the best way to go to get in some sight seeing of the monuments. A man was there next to us with his 2 sons and where also trying to find stuff in the city. They happened to be looking to purchase some ice cream. I over heard him having trouble with his phone registering his voice command. So I grabbed my book and pointed out 3 different locations with in about 5 blocks from where we were on the map. Feel free to insert fat joke here. He responded "Whoa a map in a book. Look how prepared you are, and with a book." What an ass! Not only did my trusty tourist book bail you out. I was kind enough to help. It is a good thing I was opposed to certain technology for so long and learned how to read and do fundamental things when I was younger. BTW he looked to be older than me and too reliant on his tech gear. I'm just spitballing here, but we as a society rely on our gadgets way too much. Now to go and do some research on the computer.
